About

The Rev. Thomas C. Jackson, MDiv

Tom grew up in New England and lived for many years in New Haven, CT. He joined St. Bede’s Episcopal Church shortly after moving to Menlo Park. Tom served on the vestry and as Junior Warden there before moving into the ordination process with the support of St. Bede’s. He served as a deacon there and was ordained as a priest in December, 2010. A life-long Episcopalian, he moved west when his husband Alex began law school at Stanford. Alex was baptized at St. Bede’s and their civil marriage was blessed there in 2009. He now serves as the Episcopal Chaplain serving Stanford Hospital & Clinics.

Tom earned his MDiv from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific and earlier received an MBA from the University of New Haven in Connecticut. He currently serves as the President of Oasis California, our diocesan ministry to LGBT people. Last year he completed a year long residency in the Clinical Pastoral Education Program at Stanford Hospital. His daughter Emma lives in New York City while his daughter Abigail lives in London with her husband.
